About this session:

The Sports Industry: A Business of Nuance
How is the sports industry different from yours? Gain insight into the sports industry, and see how it compares to your own. We will discuss the differences between professional sports leagues and teams and other industries in both business practices and collective bargaining, explore how the motivation for owning a professional team differs from that of other businesses, and explain how professional sports teams determine their business priorities. We will conclude by investigating the relationship between team financial resources, wins and revenue.
