The WCDFW has launched a new series of exclusive lunches, each one focused on a very specific professional function. This is a great way to not only network, but to develop more connected relationships with Wharton peers.
These micro-events will be limited to up to 15 people within that functional area. Each small lunch will also be sponsored by a company and held in its executive boardroom where the sponsor will share a short overview about the company and any topics relevant to the C-suite.
The purpose of the micro-lunches is to provide an intimate setting in which our alumni can meet and engage their peer group in a protected, informative and effective way.
This event will be sponsored by Mark Sinatra, WG'06, President at Staff One HR, and will be dedicated to those Wharton alumni who are Presidents or CEOs of their organization. Mark will kick off the discussion with his experience of entrepreneurship through acquisition, and will lead a lively discussion.
Since July of 2008, Mark has led Staff One HR through a period of substantial growth highlighted by achieving the Dallas 100 and Inc. 5000 list three years in a row, and culminating in Staff One HR’s sale to Oasis Outsourcing in December 2017. Before joining Staff One HR, Mark co-founded Gordian Capital, a private investment company that focuses on making long-term investments in lower middle market companies. He has worked in the private equity, investment banking, consulting, and business process outsourcing industries for the following companies: Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Andersen, RR Donnelley and The Parthenon Group.
Actively involved in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, Mark is a former Board Director of NAPEO and ESAC. He also is involved in the Dallas community as a Chairperson of First3 Years, a Board Director with Social Venture Partners – Dallas, and as a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) – Lone Star Chapter. In addition to having an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, Mark holds a BA in economics from Fordham University. Mark also holds the SHRM-CP Certification, is a Certified Index analyst, and is a graduate of the Stagen Integral Leadership Academy.
