Mask and Wig is coming to Dallas: Our Father Who Aren't in Heaven
Who we are: The Mask and Wig Club of the University of Pennsylvania is the Nation’s Oldest Musical Comedy Group. The group is composed of entirely University of Pennsylvania undergrads abiding by the credo: Justice to the Stage, Credit to the University.
The Show: Mask and Wig’s 132nd Annual Production: Our Father Who Aren’t in Heaven, A Comedy of God-Like Proportions!
Chaos ensues at Heaven Incorporated, the Universe’s oldest and most inconsistently successful company. The angels in the call center are struggling to answer Earth’s millions of prayers, and the chit chat around the holy water cooler is that the boss is having a mideternity crisis. God determines to go down to Earth and find out what is wrong with humans today, and his dutiful assistant Gabriel goes after him. As do Satan and his dutiful assistants, Darth Vader, Antonin Scalia and the Stingray that Killed Steve Irwin. They all embark on a journey across Earth that brings them from the Vatican, to the churches of a televangelist and Scientology preacher, to Satan’s timeshare in Las Vegas.
