Join the Wharton Club for a beautiful sunset cruise and cocktails aboard the Seawolf!
We had an amazing evening on our cruise earlier this summer even when weather cut our sail a little short. By popular demand we are hosting another sunset cruise and cocktails event on Sat., Sept. 21st to kickoff the fall season - this time at sunset!
Join us as we sail around Lake Ray Hubbard aboard Seawolf, a beautiful 40-foot sailing catamaran, hand-built of beautiful Spanish cedar, and catch the Texas sunset around 7:15 PM. Guests are welcome and we will have hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, and other refreshments to enjoy during our sail with friends, old and new.
If you purchased tickets for the cruise in June, you will receive 50% off the lowest priced ticket for this event!
The Wharton Club strives to offer local alumni more opportunities for meaningful networking in a less formal settings. We received so much positive feedback after the last sail event despite the rain, we are excited to host this event again. This will be a terrific social and networking event for all!
What to Wear
Casual dress and shoes with soft rubber soles and a low heel. (If you wear high heels, leather soles, or muddy shoes, be ready to take them off as you board the boat.) Although it is usually warm in late September, the breeze when sailing can be cool, so you may want to bring a light jacket, sweater, or wrap for your comfort.
Accommodations for Those with Disabilities
Seawolf can accommodate regular wheelchairs and walkers; however, motorized chairs are too heavy for the boat.
Safety
We have more than enough life-jackets aboard Seawolf for our group. Again, please wear shoes with soft rubber soles and low heels.

There are seats available for each guest.
Restrooms
Available onboard.
After the sail?
We will dock at 7:30 PM, so feel free to stroll along the pier and grab dinner, drinks or dessert at one of the many spots along the lake.

Boarding: 5:30 PM (Please allow time to park and board, as we will depart at 6:00 PM)
Cruise: 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Location: The Harbor at Rockwall, 2055 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall, TX, 75032 (located behind the Hilton).
From Dallas take I-30 to Rockwall, exit Horizon Rd (Exit 67A), immediately while still on the exit ramp, take a right on Shoreline Road (right before Culpepper's Rest), then right on Summer Lee Dr. It is approximately 40 minutes from downtown Dallas.
Walk to the water side of the Hilton Hotel to the large Lighthouse, where the Seawolf is docked.
Parking: Free parking for the Harbor is available near the Hilton Hotel or you may use the valet parking.
Registration: This event is open to those 21 years or older.
Early registration expires Tues., Sept. 17, 2019, after which all tickets increase $10.
