Join the Wharton Club for an Exclusive, Small Group Lunch - This One is for Wharton Alumni who are Presidents or CEOs of Their Organization

The WCDFW has launched a series of exclusive lunches, each one focused on a very specific professional function. This is a great way to not only network, but to develop more connected relationships with Wharton peers.

These micro-events will be limited to up to 15 people within that functional area. Each small lunch will also be sponsored by a company and held in its executive boardroom where the sponsor will share a short overview about the company and any topics relevant to the C-suite.

The purpose of the micro-lunches is to provide an intimate setting in which our alumni can meet and engage their peer group in a protected, informative and effective way.

gsharmaThis event will be sponsored by Gagan Sharma, WG'05, President/CEO at BSI Financial, and will be dedicated to those Wharton alumni who are Presidents or CEOs of their organization.  Gagan will kick off the discussion with his experience of entrepreneurship through the financial services industry, and will lead a lively discussion.

Gagan is the Chairman and CEO of BSI Financial Services, a leading provider of technology and outsourcing services to banks, private equity firms and hedge funds in the residential mortgage sector. Gagan led an investment group to acquire the company from its former parent bank in 2006 and transformed the company from a small lender into an innovative & growing service provider, growing BSI by over 7,000% since his acquisition. The company was named on the Inc. Magazines’ Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for 2015 & 2017 and on The Dallas 100 list of fastest growing companies in North Texas for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (as published by Dallas Business Journal and Southern Methodist University). Gagan himself has been recognized as a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the Southwest Region in 2017.
