SOLD OUT - Small Group Guided Wine Tasting

Wharton DFW invites you and a guest to join us for an evening of wine tasting and socializing at the home of one of our members. The tasting will be at the home of Jon and Sheila Buchwald where we will be guided by Sheila - who recently completed her WSET Certification (sommelier) - through a  taste-off between two of California’s leading wine regions, Sonoma and Napa.

You will have a chance to compare and contrast exciting varietals from each region.  Wineries include: Kosta Browne, Pahlmeyer, Lambert Bridge, William Selyem, Lancaster Estate, Cliff Lede, and Pride Mountain.

Sonoma and Napa both are both located north of San Francisco but are separated by the Mayacamas mountain range and have very different characteristics and flavor profiles. Napa is the more well-known appellation, while Sonoma’s wineries tend to be more "off the tourist grid".

The tasting begins at 7:00 but guests are encouraged to gather starting at 6:30. The group will be capped at 15 to keep the evening intimate.  You are welcome to bring a guest, but one is certainly not required.

The home is near Lemmon Ave and Inwood Rd in Dallas. Full address will be emailed to attendees. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
